Ribes uva Hinnönmaki Röd

A slightly thorny shrub that grows to a height of 75 cm. It blooms in April with inconspicuous greenish flowers that attract bees and bumblebees. The fruits are medium-sized, round and dark red, and ripen from July to August. The berries are deliciously juicy, with a fresh, slightly tart taste. It likes a sunny or partially shaded spot and well-drained soil. The shrub is frost hardy, so it will surely survive the winter. Since it is deciduous, its leaves fall in winter, providing a perfect opportunity for pruning. Its water needs are moderate.
